This convenient meter measures the moisture content of wood (6 to 99.9%). This information is good to know to minimize future warping of the wood and also cracks or crowding that will be caused by wood that is either too moist or too dry. As wood slowly gains or sheds moisture, depending on the environment it is in, will expand or retract, making once tight fits either too loose or too cramped.

This meter includes a remote moisture probe and temperature probe. This is great for measuring inside of tight or hard to reach places which you find frequently in construction applications. Automatically temperature compensated (ATC) so you can be assured of accurate temperature readings. Also has a built-in calibration check to keep your measurements on track.
