This convenient meter measures the moisture content of wood and other building materials. This information is good to know to minimize future warping of the wood and also cracks or crowding that will be caused by wood that is either too moist or too dry. As wood and other materials slowly gain or shed moisture, depending on the environment it is in, it will expand or retract, making once tight fits either too loose or too cramped.

This meter features a multi-position sensor with safety storage and position lock. This will minimize wear and tear on the pins as well as accidental poking. This meter also measures room air temperature from 32 to 122F (0 to 50C) and moisture content of 0 to 100%.
