This convenient meter measures the moisture content of wood and other building materials. This information is good to know to minimize future warping of the wood and also cracks or crowding that will be caused by wood that is either too moist or too dry. As wood and other materials slowly gain or shed moisture, depending on the environment it is in, it will expand or retract, making once tight fits either too loose or too cramped.

Features a dual LCD screen that displays the moisture content in wood and materials as well as a bargraph. With a built-in battery check and measurement verification test so you know you're getting good readings. Also includes replacement pins in case they are broken.
