This convenient meter measures the moisture content of wood and other building materials without the use of sharp and fragile pins. This information is good to know to minimize future warping of the wood and also cracks or crowding that will be caused by wood that is either too moist or too dry. As wood and other materials slowly gain or shed moisture, depending on the environment it is in, will expand or retract, making once tight fits either too loose or too cramped.

With a moisture content measurement range of 0 to 99% (limited by wood type). With a high maximum resolution of 0.1%.
