mo290realThis convenient meter measures the moisture content of wood and other building materials without the use of pins or with the use of the remote moisture probe. This information is good to know to minimize future warping of the wood and also cracks or crowding that will be caused by wood that is either too moist or too dry.

As wood and other materials slowly gain or shed moisture, depending on the environment it is in, will expand or retract, making once tight fits either too loose or too cramped. This meter also includes an IR thermometer which lets you read the surface temperature while measuring the moisture content. This meter will measure the relative humidity, air temperature plus grains per pound (GPP), grams/kg, dew point (DP), condensation levels and vapor pressure. With a moisture content measurement range of 0 to 99.9%.
