Titrators and Titration Systems

Titration is a method of quantitative chemical analysis that is used to determine the concentration of unknown substances within a sample. Also known as volumetric analysis, it works by adding carefully measured quantities of a reagent to a sample until an endpoint is reached. An endpoint of acidity titrations for example is known once the reagent changes the pH of a sample to a known pH. From the amount of reagent added we can calculate the total acids within the sample.

The Titration method can be performed manually but is prone to user errors in carrying out the test and performing the necessary calculations. These state of the art machines will automatically perform the titration procedure and indicate the results on the digital display.
