This rugged waterproof meter is designedto withstand harsh outdoor applications, especially waste water treatment andfish farming. The Simple on-site calibration requires no chemicalsolutions. Just expose the probe to air and press the CAL button. In afew minutes, the meter is calibrated and ready to use. Auto-calibrationeliminates the need to use a screwdriver or other devices to adjust thereading.

The new and improved HI 9143 will measure and extended range of oxygen from 0 to 300%, 0 to 45 mg/L and temperature from 0 to 50°C. What stands this meter apart from less expensive meters is that it automatically compensates for the effect of altitude, salinity and temperature.
