Hanna Instruments Dissolved Oxygen Meter (HI 9142)

This Dissolved oxygen meter is an innovative and rugged portable, waterproof meter designed to withstand the harsh inclemencyof weather. Cold, rain, snow, dust and humidity can cause condensationto breech the housing of other brands of dissolved oxygen meters, which eventually compromises the meter andrapidly diminishes its performance and life. The HI 9142 is a rugged and designed to withstandharsh weather conditions.

It is very simple to calibrate this instrument: To train the instrument to recognize a 0% oxygen level we use a Zero Oxygen solution and for the 100% oxygen level it calibrates to the outside air.

Thereis no need to use chemical solutions or go through time consumingcalibration procedures. The polarographic probe (HI 76407/4) isaccurate to 0.3 ppm in minutes and is supplied with a 4m (13') cablethat allows measurements to be taken even in hard to reach places. The unit also comes with its own carrying case.

Forapplications that require longer probe cables, the HI 76407/10 and HI76407/20 probes with a 10m (33') or 20m (67') cable are available.
