Chlorine is the most common water disinfectant and is used in many drinking water applications, including drinking water, the food and beverage industry and swimming pools. This meter was developed to measure low concentrations of free chlorine in water. The range of this product is 0.000 to 0.500 mg/L (ppm) range. The method it uses is an adaptation of the Standard Method 4500-Cl G for drinking water.

This meter features the powerful CAL CHECK validation function where you can validate the good performance of the meter at any time. The whole process is user-friendly and with the NIST traceable standards you can verify the performance of the instrument and recalibrate if necessary.

The instrument is water resistant and the lamp and filter units are protected by a transparent cup. This makes the instrument ideal for field applications as well as in the lab. This meter comes with an auto-shut off feature that will turn the instrument off after 10 minutes of non-use in measurement mode and after 1 hour if left in calibration mode. The meter also features a positive locking system for the cuvet to ensure the same orientation time after time. The cuvets have a wider neck to allow easier adding of reagents and samples. This meter comes with 2 sample cuvets with caps, a 9V battery and instruction manual.
