Nitrite, Low Range Photometer Water Resistant W/ CAL CHECK

imgHI_96715_SThis meter measures the Nitrogen-Nitrite content in the 0.000 to 0.600 mg/L (ppm) range. This is good testing water for drinking, as well as surface and saline water samples. The Method used is an adaptation of an EPA approved method.

This meter is an auto diagnostic portable microprocessor meter that has an advanced optical system based on a special tungsten lamp and a narrow band interference filter. This allows for very accurate and repeatable readings. This meter is factory calibrated and the advanced design minimizes the need for frequent calibration.

This instrument contains the powerful CAL CHECK validation function which allows you to validate your performance at any time. This whole system is user friendly and with the NIST traceable standards you will be able to verify the performance of the instrument and recalibrate if necessary.

This meter is water resistant and the lamp and filter are protected by a transparent cup, making it ideal for field work. This meter also features an auto-shut off feature that will turn off the instrument after 10 minutes of non-use in measurement mode and after 1 hour of non-use in calibration mode. This meter also has a positive locking system to ensure the cuvets are oriented in exactly the same way each time you test. The meter also allows for cuvets with larger necks to ease the process of adding both reagents and samples.

This meter comes with 2 sample cuvets with caps, a 9V battery and an instruction manual.
