Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) Tester

An ORP reading / Redox value can be used to:

• Indicate suitability of soil, etc. for biological life
• Determine when additional cultivation is unnecessary
• Indicate stability and stage of completion of compost

A simple formula using the readings from an ORP and a pH meter, provides a Redox (rH) value from 0 to 42. Optimum soil rH value is 25 - 28. The pocket tester with a single range (+/- 999 mv) also may be used to measure H2O2 / H2O mixtures.
