Horiba Cardy Twin Nitrate NO3- Kit For Soil (B-342) This Horiba Cardy twin Nitrate Meter is designed for measuring samples taken from your soils. Flat sensor technology enables measurements with only a few drops of sample. Measurements are simple, quick, and accurate. Using HORIBA's original flat sensor it can measure sample volumes as low as 0.3mL and uses a very simple calibration procedure.
* The meter cannot be used totally submerged underwater

It is therefore very important to be able to accurately measure how much nitrogen you need for your soil, your fertilizers, in the leaves of your plant. Too much nitrogen in human and animal feed can cause Nitrate poisoning so it is also important for health purposes to be able to measure Nitrate Nitrogen content of your final foods.
