Temperature monitoring is essential in the making of quality compost. By monitoring your compost you can see how well the bacteria is working to digest the organic matter, what stage of the compost process the pile is at and also when the pile needs turning.

This probe features a clear, easy-to-read dial, with the pointer directly driven by the sensitive bi-metal helix in the bottom of the stem which gives an accurate reading every time. An absolutely essential tool for any form of composting.
