The PAL-2 has all the great features of the PAL-1, but with a higher measurement range from 45.0-93.0% Brix. The PAL could not be easier to use. Simply add a droplet of distilled water to the prism and "zero" the meter and it is calibrated, then simply add a droplet of your sample to the prism and start the refractometer. In just seconds the refractometer will give you the precise brix reading without the ambiguity of where the line crosses the scale as you sometimes get with the optical refractometers. 

 The meter is completely washable and equipped with an External Light Interference mechanism to prevent false readings outdoors or in well lit areas.
