Nitrate can be found in surface water as well as in underground water. In drinking water nitrate levels should be checked due to its toxicity, and should be kept under 45 mg/L. This test kit will allow you to test for nitrate in the 0 to 50 mg/L range in water and the 0 to 60 mg/L range in soil.
