Combination Test Kit for Aquaculture (Approx. 100 tests)

imgHI_3823_SThis test kit lets you test the most important parameters for aquaculture applications. These parameters include alkalinity, carbon dioxide, dissolved oxygen, hardness, pH and salinity. These parameters play a key roles in the delicate balance of aquatic environments. Alkalinity acts as a stabilizer for pH.

Carbon dioxide must be monitored because of its toxicity to fish, although every species can tolerate different levels of carbon dioxide. Oxygen levels impact fish respiration and incorrect concentrations can slow down their growth rate. Harness monitoring is important because it diminishes the toxicity level of ammonia and pH is measured to determine the toxicity level of the water. Salinity is important because of its relation to dissolved oxygen.
